Megan Fox Shows Us How Leather Should be Worn
Megan Denise Fox (born May 16, 1986) is an American actress and model best known for her role of Mikaela Banes in the "Transformers" films. There is a lot more than just a few films going on with this lovely lady, though.
Megan Fox was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee to a fairly strict religious family. She is of Irish, French, and Native American ancestry. She has stated that the other girls didn't like her in school, and often had to hide from them to avoid being bullied.
Megan began her professional acting career in 2001, with several minor television and film roles. Her first acting role was a starring part in a straight-to-dvd film, "Holiday in the Sun." Several low-profile acting jobs followed, and Megan's next break was a supporting role in the Lindsay Lohan film "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen." A regular role in the television show "Hope & Faith" as Sydney Shanowski was next, and she played that for two years.
The biggest break of all, though, came in 2007, when Megan was chosen to star in the first "Transformers" film. The character became a favorite of many teenage viewers, and Megan reprised her role in the followup, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen." The role boosted Megan from mere stardom to superstardom and cemented her position as one of the leading ladies of Hollywood.
